Salient features
1. Banas Sainik School will be affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education.
2. It is fully residential co-education school.
3. Four batches of 80 students each have been admitted in Class VI. The seniormost calss has graduated into 9th Grade.

5. The school also aims to create an academically strong, culturally aware, intellectually adept, confident, highly skilled, multi-dimensional, self-reliant youth community with leadership qualities focused on rendering service to the nation.
6. Apart from preparing students academically, the school also trains them for the entrance examination to the National Defence Academy/Naval Academy and nurtures them for better career opportunities, including joining the Armed Forces.
