As an effect a new trust named Galbabhai Nanjibhai Patel Charitable trust was registered by the Charity Commissioner under certificate No. E/1530 Banaskantha on 17th day of September 2016.

Banas Sainik School (BSS), Palanpur, Dist. Banaskantha, Gujarat is one among the 100 newly established PPP model Sainik Schools under the aegis of Sainik School Society, Ministry of Defence, New Delhi. Banas Sainik School was established under the flagship of Banas Dairy, Asia's Largest Dairy Cooperative with 8 million litre milk collection per day. The Banas Sainik School is managed by Galbabhai Nanjibhai Patel Charitable Trust, promoted by Banas Dairy.
